Soviet period set of 2 "Red Horse" teapots (infuser and top-up large volume) from the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory, mid-1900s, "Made in USSR". Height 21 cm and 10 cm, volume 2450 ml and 250 ml, hand painted.
The drawing "Red Horse" (author's name "Golden-Maned Horse") created in 1960 by the legendary Honored Artist of the RSFSR Alexei Vorobyovsky. Fabulous red-gold horses and a red-gold-black rooster on a teapot. The teapots are hand painted with 22 carat gold. A. Vorobyovsky is called an artist-jeweler for his unique painting technique. His Works are in the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, and other museums and private collections in Russia, the USA, France, Great Britain, and Germany. Awarded a gold medal at the World Exhibition in Brussels in 1958
